Dale Wolf

Dale Wolf was the owner of The Norwood Enterprise from 1922, when he acquired half-interest in the newspaper, until his death, at age 57, in 1946. He was originally from Marion, Indiana. He was not only a newspaper publisher, but was considered a leader in "employment management," and an organizer of civic and social organizations—he was one of the founders of the Norwood YMCA.

At his death, his wife, Ruth Howell Wolf, became president, and the business grew into Cincinnati Suburban Newspapers, Inc. Some of her work at The Norwood Enterprise included the column "Letter from Father Norwood," which appeared every week for 30 years. After college, she taught high school sciences. She died at the age of 93, in 1980.
