Schmidlapp Oldsmobile was located at 3813 Montgomery Road. As this 1953 ad indicates, the business had been an Oldsmobile dealership since 1933. However, another source gives the year as 1935, when they opened at 3804 Montgomery Road. A 1949 source gives the address as 3800 Montgomery Road. On Saturday, January 7, 1950, the dealership had a grand opening of its new display room and garage at 3813 Montgomery Road.

Can you imagine getting all this done for your modern car for only $18.50! Of course, a modern car doesn't have a carburetor or require many of the adjustments listed and these are 1950s dollars.
